All About Cwtch Ceramics Cafe

We first saw what was to become Cwtch Ceramics & Deli in November 2019 and could see that the building was just what we had been looking for to enable us to extend our business.
Granted there was an incredibly scary amount of work to be done to get our new home fit for purpose and a welcoming place for our lovely customer base which we had already established in our old shop. To say that we didn't even have any windows, electrics or fittings will give you an idea of the task ahead of us. Thankfully, we have an amazing group of family and friends who were willing to give up their time and expertise to get our lovely shop ready.
Cwtch Ceramics Cafe in Rossett first opened its doors very excitedly on March 10th 2020 which was exactly 11 days before Covid 19 hit and the whole country was shut down. 
Then followed the most extraordinary 15 months ever. We rolled with all the rules, regulations, changes and updates and stayed open with a very popular take out menu for breakfasts and lunches ... take away ceramics painting packs and our ever popular take away Afternoon Teas for every occasion imaginable.
We have been incredibly lucky to have the support from our local communities and customers both regular (I didn't want to say old) and new... many of whom have become long lasting friends.
During this uncertain time, we have managed to retain some of our staff though some have moved on to pastures new. Finding new staff has sometimes been difficult with all the restrictions going on but thankfully we are now getting a valued team together who are learning and growing their customer skills. All in all, this past year has been an incredibly bumpy ride but with the support of lots of friends old and new and fabulous staff we are looking forward to a great future and bringing more & more changes to Cwtch Ceramics that we know all our customers will love.
